Looking for sexual health information?

The library has many resources for health information the newest being a public health nurse from the sexual health promotion team of Middlesex London Health Unit.  MLHU will have information regarding health and sexuality, offer services including condoms, pregnancy tests, emergency contraceptive pill (ECP), provide referrals and offer counselling.  So if reading about things isn't enough, come to the library to chat with the health nurse and get that expert advice.  Every Monday from 2 - 4:30 pm running from September 29 to December 15 in the health area of the Central Library.

Maybe you joined in on August 14th this year with the city and local organizations to make an effort to "Power Down" non-essential use of electricity in your home? An eye-opening tool you can borrow, for free, from the Library and provided in partnership with London Hydro is a Kill-A-Watt Energy Monitor. They're simple to use! Just plug almost any appliance in your home  into the monitor and the monitor will tell you how much energy that appliance is using.
