November 7, 2007 - London Public Library is a proud supporter of Ambassador London, a grassroots campaign to help shape the image of London to a place of global importance and influence where all can flourish - economically, socially and culturally. Ambassador London was officially launched on Tuesday with a public rally at the London Convention Centre that drew nearly 3000 Londoners.
October 23, 2007 - A new community recreation centre and library will be opening on the northeast corner of Adelaide and Sunningdale. Construction will be beginning in 2009. The Centre, a collaborative, unique, joint venture between the City of London, London Public Library and the YMCA, will be a LEED Green Building.
This landmark building will provide many services to community members.
October 25, 2007 - After 12 years of intensive use, Masonville Branch Library is undergoing a refresh. The branch was built in 1995 to service a growing North London community. Over the past 12 years, Masonville Branch has served nearly 2.5 million visitors and is one of London Public Library’s busiest branches.
