eAccount Registration

If you already have a London Public Library card, you do not need an eAccount. Your current library card number can be used to access online resources and place holds.

With a London Public Library (LPL) eAccount, residents of London and surrounding three counties (Elgin, Middlesex, and Oxford with the exclusion of Woodstock), can now get immediate access to London Public Library’s online services. Here’s what you can do with an eAccount:

  • Register for our library programs and events through our Catalogue
  • Borrow eBooks and eAudiobooks from the London Public Library Digital Catalogue
  • Access our online educational services, including educational videos with Lynda.com
  • Download and stream TV shows, movies and documentaries with InstantFlix
  • Read the newspaper with PressReader
  • Look through your favourite magazines with Zinio
  • Browse our Information Databases
  • Learn new languages with Mango Languages

NOTE: Our current eResource list is subject to change.

If you would like to check out physical materials from LPL or if you have any problems getting an eAccount with this form, we invite you to get a London Public Library card. Simply go to the nearest branch to be issued a library card with borrowing privileges. Read this first.

eAccounts can be used for three years, after which time you can renew the account by phoning or emailing the library (519-661-4600 or info@lpl.ca).

Complete the online application to get your eAccount number now.
