Are you in motion!

Middlesex-London in motion is a community campaign to promote and celebrate healthy and active living. Everyone in the City of London is invited to join the in motion Community Challenge.The Challenge will run from October 1 to October 31... it will be an easy, fun and social way to get moving even a little bit more! The total number of minutes for all participants will be added up at the end of October.

London Public Library will be providing support to the Challenge through employee participation and by acting as a pick up and drop off location for the paper tracking tools as well as answering questions and providing instructions. We have StepsCount pedometers you can borrow with your library card that will help track your steps over the month.  You can borrow general exercise books or you can search for specific materials such as abdominal exercises, reducing exercises or low impact aerobic exercises.  To get in the swing of things consider joining one of our fall exercise programs.  If you need more information about the challenge go to the in motion web site or call or stop by your local library.  While you are there pick up forms for yourself, family and friends. Your participation will help support making London Canada's healthiest community.  Remember, every step counts so count yourself in.
