Join us in the Wolf Performance Hall , Central Library on Thursday, November 27 at 7 pm for a talk of Tony Weis, Assistant Professor from Western University Geography Department.

Tony will present the research  done for his recently published book: Ecological Hoofprint: The Global Burden of Industrial Livestock

In his book, Tony Weis examines industrialization of meat production on the world sale.

His central argument is that industrial meat production causes environmental degradation, worsening of human inequality and violence of everyday life.

The book explains why there is an urgent need to challenge that, and why this deserves much greater attention in order to build a more sustainable and humane world. Come and meet the author of this timely, important  and highly acclaimed document, ask your questions.
