We have all been here before! Or have we?

DVD cover image - Yangsi: reincarnation is just the beginning

Reincarnation is one of the most prevalent (and questioned) religious or mystical beliefs that we can encounter in modern times.

What we do know for sure is that the belief in reincarnation is well rooted in Eastern mysticism but it is not unique to a specific culture or a specific time.

You may, or may not, remember when Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young hit the world by storm with their recording of Deja Vu.

A generation of young people took to singing "And I feeeeeeeeeeeel like I have been here before". And perhaps they did, and perhaps they had.

Having missed this iconic recording on the topic perhaps you grew up to the multiple television programs that feature stories of reincarnation including the current  "My Past Lives" mini series and "Resurrection".

My thoughts would be that if reincarnation is possible then Tibetan Masters would be very familiar with the nuances of this phenomenal event.

The new documentary film by producer Mark Elliot  Yangsi : reincarnation is just the beginning takes you through the journey of a young Tibetan boy believed to be the reincarnation of one of the most revered Tibetan Masters of the 20th century.

The story unfolds over a fourteen year period and documents the experience of being "recognized' and then trained to accept his legacy.

A powerful story that will leave you wondering whether even you may have been here before.
