Gardening for a Cooler Planet - Permaculture City series last talk in WESTMOUNT library

Climate change is having a huge impact on human life globally. Find out how gardening and farming based on ecological principles is crucial in mitigating
the effects of climate change and can even help to cool the planet. A special focus will be on projects that promote climate and social justice.

Our speaker, Becky Ellis is a permaculture educator. She holds an MA in Anthropology from Western and a Permaculture Design Certificate from Earth Activist training. An avid organic gardener and backyard beekeeper, Becky's love for nature developed from a  childhood spent on a small family farm in Southwestern Ontario.


Join us for the last talk from the series of Permaculture City on Wednesday, April 20 at 6 pm in the WESTMOUNT Library.

This talk originally planned for Central library has been moved to the Westmount branch.
