One Way Ticket to the Moon - Polish Film Festival 2016

The second London Polish Film Festival has started on Saturday, June 4th with the screening of Jan Jakub Kolski film. For the following three Thursdays we are moving to the other  Festival location at the Department of Film Studies at Western University (old Ivy Business School, entrance from Kent Dr.)

Join us for the upcoming screening on Thursday, June 9 as we will present based on a true story  comedy by Jacek Bromski One Way Ticket to the Moon (Bilet na księżyc). It is 1969. Adam, a fresh high school graduate is called to the army and sent to the naval base. His brother Antoni, a womanizer and a king of night clubs, who served in the same base, decided to travel with him to make sure that the lasting few days journey will bring some life experiences to Adam (including losing virginity) and prepares him for the years in a military base. The film is fast paced and funny even in the final, dramatic scene.
