Noon Meditation in Landon Library during Central closure

Central Noon Meditation during the upcoming closure period will move to the Landon Library in Wortley village.

Join us  on June 14 and 21 in the Martha Bishop community room of the Landon library at 167 Wortley Rd. to recharge your batteries in the middle of the day. Research shows that meditation can improve the immune system, increase energy levels and help to gain greater emotional stability.

The new book by Deepak Chopra and Rudolph E.Tanzi the authors of the New York Times bestseller Super Brain, called Super Genes offers one more discussion proving that  our genes are not our destination.  According to the newest findings of epigenetics and microbiomics our genetic expression can be modified by simple changes in our lifestyle. Meditation plays great role in that.

Two guided meditation sessions will be conducted by experienced teachers and volunteers from the Art of Living Foundation.

If you are interested in meditation you may want to read on the topic or listen to some guided meditations found in our collection.
