True North Favourite: Mr. Dressup

linda

Watching Mr. Dressup on CBC TV was a morning staple of my 1970's childhood. I loved the pictures he drew on his easel, the books he read to Casey and Finnegan and the endless costume possibilities he pulled from his Tickle Trunk. When I grew up I learned that Ernie Coombs (aka Mr. Dressup) played a big role in launching the first generation of television programming developed specifically for Canadian childrn andthat he was named to the Order of Canada in 1996. Relive some happy memories with this Mr. Dressup DVD collection.
