Remember before, when you could get hired by simply going to an employer and asking for a job? Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Now you are required to have a resume and (very often) a cover letter. In some cases you are required to bring copies of your diplomas, certificates, licences and awards.

It is very hard to keep up with everything taking place in our community particularly in the labour market sector, especially during the so called “Information Age”. For example, some companies do not advertise jobs, but that does not mean they are not hiring. Patrons should keep an eye on events such as the following:
