Something realistic? How about reading Just Listen by Sarah Dessen. Maybe you'd rather something realistic but extra complicated, like OCD Love Story by Corey Ann Haydu. Or why not add some comedy into the mix with Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins.
If these don't appeal to you, how about a little fantasy in your love story with The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater? We could even change our setting to a dystopia with The Selection by Kiera Cass, or throw in some science fiction with Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi.
