InstantFlix FAQ
 How does it work?

InstantFlix plays on any computer with Internet access.  It also works on handheld devices through the web browser (please note, there is no app for this product). It requires no downloads as it is online streaming of movies.

How do you sign up?

You need to create an account using an email address and creating a password.  You will then need to go to your email and validate your account.  This only needs to be done once and then you can log in to your account.

Please Note: if you have created an account with RB Digital for eMagazines, you use that same login information and don’t need to set up a new account.

Is there a limit to access?

You can stream as many films as you wish.  There are no holds because there is unlimited access so multiple people can view the same movie at the same time.

A film was there last week, where did it go?

Films are only removed if they are no longer independent and have been picked up by a major film studio.

Where are the film ratings?

InstantFlix offers the following ratings: All Ages, 13+, and 17+.  Be advised that films on InstantFlix have not been rated by the MPAA and may contain offensive language, scenes of violence and sexual situations.

What are the Channels?

InstantFlix has grouped films into different channels.

Are Foreign Language Films subtitled?

They are in the process of subtitling all the foreign language films.  There are some that still have no subtitles.

There is a film that should be on this site, how do I get it added?

Along the bottom of the InstantFlix website, you can suggest films and independent filmmakers can submit films.

What is the Music for Film section about?

Filmmakers can download music to use in their films.

How are filmmakers paid?

For every minute watched, the filmmaker is paid.
