Zinio FAQ

How do I sign up?

You will need to create a Zinio for Libraries account to check out magazines.

Step 1: Click the Continue to Zinio login page link at the top of this page.

Step 2: Find a magazine you would like to read and click the Checkout Now icon.

Step 3: Click Create a New Account and follow instructions on the screen.

How do I find the magazine I want and check it out?

You can find Zinio on our website by going to Research, then Information databases, and selecting Magazines & Newspapers or by clicking on Continue to Zinio login page above.
You can search or browse the magazines by title or genre. When you see one you wish to download, click on the cover and then on the Checkout button. If you are not logged in you will be prompted to do so. Click on the Complete Checkout button.

You can read the magazine immediately in the browser tab that opens, or click Keep Browsing to find more magazines.

Is there an app for that?

For most mobile devices, you will need to download the free Zinio for Libraries app. The app is available for the iPad, Kindle Fire, and Android tablets. More devices will be supported very soon. You can use the older Zinio app for other platforms, but you will need to create a seond account in the app.

The app allows you to read Zinio magazines on the go, and even download them for reading later when you no longer have an internet connection.

After installing the app you will need to visit the Library's Zinio collection and create a Zinio account if you haven’t already done so. See "How do I sign up?" When you log into the Zinio app, you'll see the magazines already added to your collection. Click on a title to download it to your device.

Please note: Use the Zinio app only to read your magazines. You must browse and checkout using a web browser and your Library Zinio account.

Is there a limit to access?

You can check out as many magazines as you like for as long as you like! Magazines are available as soon as they hit newsstands. This means that even the current issue can be checked out.
