Friend of the Year 2014: Connie Sullivan

friend of the year 2014

Connie Sullivan was presented with the Friend of the Year award in recognition of her many years of contributions to Friends of the London Public Library. She has served on the executive in different roles: Secretary (2002-05), Vice President (2005-06) and President (2006-08). Since 2011 she has been the coordinator of the Speaking With Friends fundraising event. Connie has been involved with coordinating and organizing numerous Friends' events, including annual general meetings, Meet & Greets for municipal election candidates, and the Library Book Sale. Connie is a major reason why Friends of the London Public Library has been one of the most successful Friends groups in Canada. Her energy, enthusiasm and advocacy for London Public LIbrary are contagious to everyone around her. It would be difficult to imagine the Friends without Connie!
