Learn to read?

 New Adult Readers

At the Library

Each library has a collection of books for adults learning to read. These books are located on the "Adult Literacy" shelves at the Central library and in the branches.

Most libraries also have "readalong" kits. These kits include compact disc recordings with books or booklets that match the stories. The audio recording can be played at a slightly slower speed to make listening comprehension easier. These kits are also available in the "Adult Literacy" section.
