Have you ever tried "googling" your research subject, and have been perplexed by the results? Does the mere plethora of choice boggle the mind? I recently stubbled upon a free web site that's trying to make sense out of online resources, one subject at a time. It's called intute!
Intute is made up of a consortium of seven universities along with numerous partners, who attempt to make structured 'sense' out of web searches. Give it a try. I plugged in AIDS and HIV and got tons of material on scientific, social and health aspects of the disease, all sorted by category. It's a researcher's dream come true!
