If you are in high school and like to read, we've got a great program for you... and it's all online! Ten recently-published Canadian fiction books for teens have been nominated for the White Pine Award™. This is awarded annually by the Ontario Library Association to the best teen book of the year. But this Award has a twist ... YOU decide the winner!

Here's how it works:

• Here are the nominated titles

• Read from this list of titles and feel free to share your thoughts, ideas and comments about these books on the Library's White Pine book blog (linked on the side of this page).

• Read at least 5 of these titles by April 22rd and you will be eligible to vote online for the one YOU think should be the winner.

• Vote online between April 12th and 22rd on our website

• Your vote, along with the votes from other teens across the province, will be tallied by the Ontario Library Association and a winner announced on May 12.
