The London Public Library has lots to offer teachers!
We know that students use both the school library and the public library to research assignments and choose reading material, and by working together we can help to provide your students with the best possible educational experience.
Curriculum Support – 24/7!
- Use the online catalogue to find materials in many formats (books, CDs, DVDs, videos and more!)
- Free online access from the Library, school or home to a number of information databases which provide thousands of full text articles from reputable and reliable journals, magazines and newspapers. All that is needed is a valid London Public Library card. For added convenience, temporary e-accounts can be set up to allow access to the information databases if you or your students do not have a card.
- Homework Help on both the Kids page and Teen page of our website which includes recommended resources and websites on many curriculum topics, research tips and strategies and more.
- Links to recommended books, websites and other resources on many curriculum topics can be found on the Research section of our website. Have a look at our growing list of research guides on many frequently asked topics.
We invite you to bring your class to the any Library location so that they can become familiar with the services and resources we offer. Or, we can arrange to visit your class. Find out:
