Numerous books have been written about the returning veterans from World War 11, but a new publication by Thomas Childers, Soldier From the War Returning offers a different perspective.  This historian tells the story of three families, including his own that shatters the myth that the veterans returned home to normal, healthy, happy lifestyles.  This makes for an interesting read as we approach our Remembrance Day.
