Two-time Giller award winner M. G. Vassanji has won the 2009 Governor-General's Literary Award for Nonfiction, for his book "A Place Within: Rediscovering India".  

Among the winners are Kate Pullinger's Mistress of Nothing (Fiction) and Caroline Pignat for "Greener Grass" (Children's Literature Text).  A full list can be seen here.
