iPhone App for Databases

Are you one of those people who likes to look up answers to burning questions right now?

Access My Library Mobile Icon

Well, I am. If I'm with a group of friends who are pondering where Burkina Faso is or what constitutes an Indigo Child I'm the one who grabs her iPhone to look it up. Often I use Google or Wikipedia, but sometimes I want more indepth or verified information. So, I was very pleased when Gale produced an app for the iPhone that lets me search all the Gale databases that the library subscribes to right from my phone. I don't even have to log in because the iPhone knows where I am and that Ontario residents have free access to these databases provided by Knowledge Ontario.

The free app is called AccessMyLibrary and you'll find it in the iTunes App store. Click for more information.
