If you are an iPhone user you can now download free MP3 audiobooks directly to your phone from the library. No late fines! Get the free Overdrive Digital Console App from the Apple App store and try it out. From there, you may just,

• Search our Digital Catalogue for a book
• Check it out, then
• When you click on Download, the App will fire up and take it from there.
• You can download one section at a time depending on whether you are using WiFi or your cell phone plan.

There is an application for Blackberry users as well. You’ll find that one at our Digital Catalogue. You can even use a QR barcode reader to download it to your BlackBerry!

Is there someone you know who would enjoy downloaded audiobooks but doesn’t have a computer?

Well, let them know that coming this fall, our libraries will have Download Stations that will let you browse for a book, check it out and transfer it to your portable device.No need to worry about software or security upgrades – the download station will take care of everything. Great if you have a computer phobic relative or friend who enjoys audio books.
