Childreach : the early years last a lifetime
Childreach is a publicly funded Early Childhood Development & Parenting Centre that serves the residents of London and child care programs in the surrounding five counties. It provides play-based learning programs for children from birth to six years and their families and support for parents, informal caregivers and licensed child care providers in home-based programs and Early Childhood Educators in child care centres. The Centre has drop in hours and many programs are drop in as well. Members can take advantage of Toy & Resource Lending (such as big books, flannel board stories, parenting resources, educational videos, music). There is a $25 Security Deposit that is refundable upon request (less an administration fee). Childreach Centre: 519-434-3644.

New Parent Resource Guide - 0 to 6 years 
This guide has names, addresses, phone numbers, and web sites for topics such as breastfeeding, feeding & first foods, child care, community information, education, health & wellbeing, help & support, holistic care, parenting, professional services, programs & activities, safety, shopping, sports, and special needs. Text can be displayed in 8 other languages besides English. Search the province or by region (South West Ontario) or city (London, St. Thomas, Goderich, Stratford, and Woodstock). There are articles, a "Welcome to ask the Expert" page, and a Kids Links page.

Ontario Early Years
The OEY Centres are the result of an initiative by the provincial government based on the recommendations of the Early Years Study (1999) The OEY Centres promote early learning & literacy for parents and any children up to the age of 6. They also provide community information and assistance with parenting skills. All programs and services are free. tykeTALK : talking starts early 
tykeTALK provides speech & language services for children up to school age throughout London-Middlesex, Oxford & Elgin Counties. They offer workshops & information sessions.
