Annual Internet Service Reports

The Library Board is undertaking its annual review of our Internet Service Policy. We've posted three current reports related to Internet Service and Wireless Service at London Public Library on our website here:

These reports will be considered as part of the Library Board's annual policy review, scheduled for the November 24th meeting of the Board. The Board posts reports and recommendations related to its review processes ahead of time because it is important to them that we give the public a chance to fully review and comment on the most current information under consideration.

I think and wish you would

I think and wish you would reconsider your ill-guided stance on not placing filters on the public use computers. I feel it utterly disrespectful and enabling of people who ought not to be looking at porn and especially at a publicly funded venue that ought to be about furthering one's self in the pursuit of wellness, awareness and development. I am distressed that I have donated to the library on a monthly basis and you think so little of protecting me from perverts accessing porn and then pestering me.

Library Filters Work

Library filters work, and claims they do not can be "dogma." See http://tinyurl.com/ALADogma

If you avoid using filters, you may be inadvertently exposing patrons to additional problems.
