The Book a Librarian service offers personal, one-on-one help with London Public Library's databases, online resources and print collections. 

If you need assistance downloading an eBook, finding business, government or health information or if you would like an in-depth demonstration of how to use library resources, we can help!

  • Library orientation, including a tour of the building and our website
  • Research help using Internet resources and our online databases
  • Downloading eBooks and audiobooks to your device
  • Resources for small business owners
  • Locating local, provincial, and federal laws
  • General health information resources
  • Referrals to community resources
  • Finding sources for school assignments
How It Works
  1. Appointments can be made Monday to Saturday during Library hours at the Central Library. Request an appointment using our online form. You can make up to 2 appointments per month.
  2. Please allow 2 business days for a response, especially when submitting questions over the weekend.
  3. You will be contacted by phone or email for more information prior to setting up an appointment, and to determine whether an appointment is the best option for you.
