Who can use the Library and attend Library programs?

All locations of London Public Library are open to all. A London Public Library card allows you to borrow and download books, music, movies and more from this and all London Public Library locations and are free to residents of London.

Are the swimming lessons the same program as the City offers?

Yes, the lessons are part of the Lifesaving Society program, the same as offered at City pools and Stoney Creek Community Centre, YMCA and Library. This means you can easily transfer to another facility.

Background:

As part of the process of moving Westmount Branch into its new home in the Bostwick (formerly Southwest) multipurpose facility currently under construction, the Library Branch will have a temporary home in the Westmount Shopping Centre from November 14, 2017 until September 1, 2018.

The building and property currently housing the Westmount Branch Library was sold and the Library Branch moved out on November 4, 2017.

London Public Library is part of a partnership to build a multipurpose facility in the southwest area of London. Our partners are the City of London and YMCA. This facility is slated to open in September 2018.
