Important Information for Zinio for Libraries App Users

RBdigital is discontinuing the Zinio for Libraries app. They are replacing it with the new RBdigital app, now available for iOS 9.0 or later and Android 4.1 and up.

Once you download the new app, you can continue to access eMagazines with the same login. All of your previous checkouts will remain on your account but they will need to be downloaded again. The Zinio for Libraries app can then be deleted from your device

RBdigital provides access to your favourite magazines to view on your computer, smartphone or tablet.

Good to Know

  • Unlimited magazine checkouts, check out as many issues as you want
  • No due dates and no fines, keep them as long as you like
  • eMagazines are released simultaneously with print editions

Getting Started

You will need to create an RBdigital account to check out magazines.

Please note: If you have created an account with RBdigital for InstantFlix, use that same login instead of setting up a new account.

Browse the Catalogue

  • View the RBdigital eMagazines catalogue
  • You can search the magazines by title or browse by genre
  • When you see one that you wish to borrow, click on the cover and then Checkout. If you are not logged in you will be prompted to do so
  • Click Start Reading to read the magazine immediately in your web browser, or click Keep Browsing to find more magazines
  • If you are looking for back issues, click on a magazine cover and scroll down to see the most recent back issues. Click Show more back issues to see all available back issues

App for Tablets and Smartphones

Download the RBdigital app available for iOS 9.0 or later and Andriod 4.1 and up from your app store.

The app allows you to browse and checkout RBdigital eMagazines and then download them to read later when you no longer have an internet connection.

After installing the app you will need to visit the Library's RBdigital eMagazine catalogue and create an account if you haven’t already done so.

The RBdigital app shows all magazines checked out on your account, including any borrowed through the website.
