The Red Maple™ Award

Red Maple Award Logo

The Red Maple™ Award reading program is offered for the enjoyment of students in Grades 7 and 8 and aims to engage readers with exciting books by Canadian authors.  The program encourages readers to engage in conversation about the books and to use critical thinking while reading.  This program includes a Fiction list every year and every other year Red Maple also offers a Non-Fiction list.
