London Writers’ Society
This group offers information, support, community and literary exposure for London, Ontario area writers. The group is open to aspiring writers at all levels and meets on the third Thursday of each month.

Poetry London
Poetry London hosts a dynamic mix of voices - from established Canadian poets to new and local writers.  They also cooperate with several othe venues to provide national poets multi-stop Ontario tours.

London Poetry Slam
A monthly poetry slam series for spoken word artists, poets, emcees and word lovers in London.  Poetry slams are energetic spoken word/performance poetry competitions where the emphasis is on the connection between the audience and the speaker.

Letters and Arts Society at Fanshawe College in London
Offers a free public Reading Series that supports locally, nationally and internationally acclaimed published Canadian authors in various genre in order to increase awareness and appreciation of the arts in our community.  Please visit the website for a current schedule.

The Writer-in-Residence at Western University
The mandate of the residency is to provide support for an accomplished writer while allowing the community as a whole to benefit from the writer’s creativity and expertise. The Writer-in-Residence, gives readings, visits classrooms, takes on leadership roles at literary and cultural events in the community and holds office hours on campus to offer feedback to and consultation with amateur creative writers.
