Finding Biographies at your Library

Books about individuals are placed in the Dewey numbers with other material on that subject. If you are looking for material on a specific person, search in the catalogue by subject, using the individual's name.

Some examples of individual biography are:

  • 610-619:  Biographies of people in the medical sciences

  • 780-789:  Biographies of musicians and composers
