An Evening with Author David Chariandy

Join us for an evening of music, community and story when David Chariandy, the author of this year's One Book One London title Brother visits Wolf Performance Hall at Central Library on Monday, April 16.  The evening includes live music, author reading and conversation. All welcome. Book sale and signing to follow. Doors open at 6:30pm. 2 hours free parking at Citi Plaza when validated at Central Library.

Brother is the winner of this year's Rogers Writers' Trust Fiction prize. It explores questions of masculinity, family, race, and identity as they are played out in a Scarborough housing complex during the sweltering heat and simmering violence of the summer of 1991.
