One Book One London Title Launch October 30

On Wednesday, October 30, London Public Library will announce the title of the book chosen for the city’s next One Book One London community reading initiative at a launch event at 10am on the main floor of Central Library. All are welcome! Details:In its fourth year, One Book One London encourages Londoners to read and discuss the same story as a community. The initiative has become extremely popular, with thousands of Londoners borrowing or buying copies of the selected book and many attending related events and book club discussions. We know that Londoners are chomping at the bit to find out what story we’ll next read together!

The selected author will join us at the launch event, which will include a special performance by musician Howie Kittelson (aka HowieZowie). Howie is a producer, engineer, musician and radio host. In 2020 he will be celebrating 40 years in broadcasting which he continues with a popular weekly radio show on Radio Western – Saturday Morning with HowieZowie. He is a retired touring guitar tech that has worked for artists such as Eric Clapton, Peter Frampton, Steve Earle and Cheap Trick.Howie can be seen regularly sitting in with the likes of The Mogrels, Dayna Manning/Trent Severn, Brent Jones, Newport Electric and Hiroshima Hearts.

Copies of the book, eAudiobook, eBook and Book Club bags will be available to borrow from the Library after the launch event and local bookstores will also carry the title.
