Borrowing Limit Increase on Overdrive

We've doubled borrowing limits on OverDrive to better support you at this time. Londoners can now borrow up to 20 items at any time, and have up to 20 items on hold. Details:

Overdrive's Libby app makes it easy to browse, borrow, and place items on hold.

As e-books and e-audiobooks are available to one user at a time, we encourage you to return your items once you've finished enjoying them, so that other Londoners can have access at this time.

It's possible to return books by going to your "Library Shelf" in Libby, and using the "Manage Loan" function to return early. You can also select the length of your borrowing period; 7 days, 14 days, or 21 days for e-books and e-audiobooks.

Earlier this month, OverDrive released a new feature called DELIVER LATER to give you more control over your OverDrive holds. This new option requires you to manually borrow your holds when they're available, including any current holds. The automatic hold checkout setting is no longer available with our OverDrive collection. Learn more about DELIVER LATER here.
