A New Day at Masonville

October 25, 2007 - After 12 years of intensive use, Masonville Branch Library is undergoing a refresh. The branch was built in 1995 to service a growing North London community. Over the past 12 years, Masonville Branch has served nearly 2.5 million visitors and is one of London Public Library’s busiest branches. The facelift includes improvements such as fresh paint, flooring and furniture, new directional signage, revamped customer service areas, rearranged collections and shelving, a new Teen Annex, plus many new and exciting items for special areas like the Children’s Area and Discover Place.

Masonville Branch closes on Thursday, November 8th at 9 p.m. We will reopen on Tuesday, December 11th at 9 a.m.

Hold items that become available for pick-up for Masonville customers will be kept at Masonville Branch during the closure period and may be picked up between December 11 - December 15. Masonville customers placing holds may also choose an alternate locations for holds pick-up while placing their hold. The outdoor return chute will be closed during the closure. During that time, please return items to any other Loondon Public Library location.

Please join us for our festive grand reopening celebration on Saturday, December 15th from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Enjoy light refreshments, music, magic, face-painting, scavenger hunts, crafts, prizes and more! Cake cutting at 2 p.m. Featuring the Bill Norris Jazz Quartet and the magical Amazing Corbin.
