9 February 2017 - 1:32pmCBC's annual battle of the books, Canada Reads, is only just over a month away. Five Canadians - an actor, a musician, a comedian, a performer and a veteran - have been selected to battle it out to become the next Canada Reads champion. The Canada Reads debates will take place from March 27 to 30, 2017 and will be hosted by Ali Hassan from CBC's Laugh Out Loud. Canada Reads 2017 will be broadcast on CBC-TV and CBC Radio One, and will be live streamed on CBCbooks.ca.

9 November 2010 - 6:57pmThe Canada Reads 2011 list has been announced! This year they asked readers to vote for the books they most wanted to see on the Canada Reads list. I am pleased to see that most of the titles chosen I have actually read but I have missed a few.
