 I've added Brad Smith's previous books to my Canadian authors displays at the library in the past, but I admit I hadn't read this author until I picked up his new release  -

Loved it!

 

Ami McKay's first novel The Birth House was a phenomenal success. I have no doubt that her  newly released second novel - The Virgin Cure - will also be a bestseller.

Canada Reads 2010

The selections for CBC Radio's Canada Reads 2010 program were announced on December 1st.  Five celebrity panelists each chose a title that they will champion in debates during the week of March 8th.  The contenders are:
