Reading Rocks

The London Public Library is excited to be hosting 40 family literacy events at 10 different locations over the next year to help families teach literacy in simple, fun ways. Our Reading Rocks events are free ,require no registration and are open too all families. Thanks to EDPRO Energy Group for donating the funds to make these events possible at Beacock, Carson, Central, Cherryhill, Crouch, East London, Jalna, Pond Mills, Sherwood and Westmount locations. Dates and times will be listed at participating locations.

Label It!

Label everyday objects around your house like tables, chairs and doors. Young children will learn to  make the connection between the printed word and the object. This is a critical step to becoming a reader in later years.
