London Public Library is participating in Earth Hour, the global effort that attempts to limit/ reduce electrical consumption between 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm on March 27, 2010.

It will be as dark as possible at every London Public Library. There will be only security lighting at all locations, and programmable thermostats or building controls will be, as usual, on night set- back.
