Information Interviews and how they can work for your job search

You might have heard the term “information interview” recently and wondered how it differs from a regular job interview. Basically, this kind of interview is a meet and greet with a potential employer.

First, ask yourself these questions:

Will I be able to learn new skills?
Does it open an opportunity for a paid position?
Will the experience provide me with a reference letter or contact name?
Does the opportunity fit the amount of time I can give?
