London Reads at LPL

Modeled after CBC Radio’s hugely popular “Canada Reads” London Public Library , The University of Western Ontario, the City of London and the Bookstore at Western invite you to join our own version of this great tribute to Canadian literature “London Reads.” For the fifth edition in a row London readers will be celebrating five great Canadian books.
book cover imageOn November 14, 7:00 pm at the Central Library, Rogers Television News Director George Clark and UWO student Ashley White will present Three Day Road by Joseph Boyden. If you haven’t read the book yet, you can still come and enjoy the discussion!

The 2008 London Reads Websit has great information about the celebrity panelists, additional Book Event dates, a weblog to share your comments, and prizes you can win. We would also really enjoy hearing what you have to say about these books right here on this page! Simply add a comment.

How can you go about getting copies of the London Reads books? You can add your name to the London Public Library or UWO Library waiting lists by clicking on the following titles:

You can purchase them at The Bookstore at Western at a 20% discount or at any other London bookstore.
