What the Psychic told the Pilgrim

Looking for enlightenment, sore feet and all? Come to the Central branch on Saturday, January 12 (2- 4.00 p.m.) for an author reading & book signing by noted Canadian author Jane Christmas.

Christmas will read from What the Psychic told the Pilgrim, her revealing - and sometimes hilarious - account of a trek along Spain's legendary northwest coast to the grave of St. James.  As Quill & Quire (December 2007) said of Christmas' latest: "Forget Elizabeth George and her Oprah-fied memoir about a pilgrimage of discovery in middle age. This is the real deal." Admission: Free.
