We Only Got 4 Minutes To Save The World

Time is waiting and there's no hesitating.  So sing Madonna and Justin Timberlake.  But instead of four minutes, what about two hours of your time on Saturday, October 24?

This is the date that the global movement has designated International Day of Climate Action.  The number stands for 350 parts per million C02, the safe limit for humanity to survive in the atmosphere.

Go to  Watch the video, and read what countries from around the world are doing on Saturday, October 24.  And twitter and tweet from the website as well.

Locally, join us at Central Library's Wolf Hall from 1:30 pm. to 3:30 pm., to learn about Climate Change and Activism in London and beyond.  Our panel discussion includes Jay Stanford, from the City of London's Environmental & Engineering Services Department; Maryanne MacDonald from Waste Free World; and UWO Professor Sara Seck, speaking on climate change and the Copenhagen Process.

In the meantime we have many books on climate control available at our amazing display on the second floor at Central.
