The World from My Front Porch

Larry Towell is an internationally known photojournalist as well as a poet and a folk musician who grew up in rural Ontario.
The award-winning book:  The World from My Front Porch is his most recent project and is on the topic of his own family in rural Ontario where he sharecrops a small farm.
Unlike most contemporary photojournalists, Towell uses traditional black and white film, which he sees as still being "the poetic form of photography".
If you are interested in black and white art photography, have a look at this title and enjoy the poetry.
