The shortlist has been announced for the 2011 Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Nonfiction:
1. On the Farm : Robert William Pickton and the Tragic Story of Vancouver's Missing Women / Stevie Cameron
2. Mordecai: the Life & Times / Charles Foran
3. Defiant Spirits: The Modernist Revolution and the Group of Seven / Ross King
4. The Geography of Arrival : a Memoir / George Sipos
5. The Love Queen of Malabar: Memoir of a Friendship with Kamala Das / Merrily Weisbord
The winner will be announced February 14.
