Thank you! Another successful ERC Annual Forum

On March 25th, the London Public Library's Employment Resource Centres celebrated their 10th anniversary in the community by hosting another successful Annual Forum. A huge thank you to our fantastic guest speakers: Claudette Crichley, COO of Big Blue Bubble in London talked about careers in video game development, and Nelson Briceno (a.k.a. Dr. Giggles), Employment Advisor/Motivational Speaker with Skills for Change in Toronto conducted a lighthearted and extremely funny workshop called "Laugh or Go Bananas".
The ERC Facilitators want to thank Library staff Betty Luedekke, Jill Blake and Rita Verhulst, for their creativity in designing the invitations and promotional literature, and their excellent customer service!
A thank you also goes out to the "Friends of the Forum" for their generous donations of door prizes: Citi Plaza, Downtown Yoga, Sea Jewels, Kernels and London Public Library. The Original Cakerie deserves a special thanks as well for their donation of two incredibly delicious cakes!!
Thank you to the staff at Westmount Branch Library for coming to work extra early and for an outstanding job in getting the Library set up for the event. Thank you John Scott for coming to Westmount to make sure all the AV equipment was up and running.
And finally we would like to thank Evelyn Symons, The Londoner, for coming to the celebration and including a picture and an article on page 19 of the Thursday, March 31st edition of The Londoner called "A funny thing happened on the way to the Forum"!
