Jay Z - Decoded

Decoded the book coverJay Z's book Decoded is a great story - part biography, part rhymes, part American Dream but with a full dose of reality.  I did not expect to enjoy this book as much as I did.  To be honest, I'm not really a Jay Z fan but his story is intriguing.  This book isn't a celebrity gossip book but the story of a young man who went from selling drugs on the street corner to singing at the Yankee's game moments before his concert in London Ontario - how did he get here so fast?

Jay Z shouts out to Basquiat (we just got the documentary Radiant Child) and Andy Warhol in his rhymes and in this book.  All and all, this is really an interesting read.
