The final week of May sees the Stratford Festival's 2013 season officially open  with productions of Romeo and Juliet, Fiddler on the Roof, Measure for Measure and the classic rock opera Tommy.  The full season's calendar can be seen here.  The Library has a variety of print, ebook and audiobook editions of the Bard's plays and there are numerous guides and commentaries to help the reader understand the characters and themes in these works. Musical settings of Shakespeare are available here.  If you want to preview a play before seeing a Stratford production or learn more about the life and times of Shakespeare in documentary format check the Library's DVD colleciton.
