Finally, The China Study Cookbook, an official companion to the renown China Study by Dr.Colin Campbell. I must say, I was waiting for it for all of those years. And here it is. Leanne Campbell, Dr. Campbell’s daughter, decided to write it. The book has a nice introductory chapter in which Leanne is talking about her way to the plant based diet and about raising children on such a diet. Then she describes eight categories of plants and transition process to plant based diet. All along there are a lot of useful tips. There is even a page dedicated to chef’s tools. The recipes part is divided into eight  beautifully illustrated parts: Brads & Muffins, Breakfast Dishes, Appetizers & Salads, Soups, Sandwiches, Entrees, Side Dishes and Desserts. Most of them can be prepared in 30 minutes. Personally I am a bit disappointed since except for one smoothie, one dessert and a few salads everything else is cooked there.  However, I can see that it is a great resource to anybody who is willing to add some healthy meals to their diet. So, weather you just look for one meal or plan to change the way you eat- read this book.  Consider choosing a whole food, low fat, plant based, vegan diet. It will be always beneficial.
