The Beatles are back and the music world is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Fab Four's American TV debut on the Ed Sullivan show.  If you watched the Grammy Awards last Sunday January 26 you will have enjoyed a number of Beatle tribute acts plus Ringo and Sir Paul as seen here:  Celebrating The Beatles on Ed Sullivan 50 Years Later, With a Little Help From Reunited Eurythmics, Perry, Grohl & Wonder.

On Sunday, February 9,  fifty years to the day of the Beatles' first U.S. TV appearance fans will be treated to a CBS special "The Night That Changed America:A GRAMMY Salute to the Beatles"  8 pm EST.   Rolling Stone Magazine's  January 16/14 issue has a feature article that revisits the Beatles'
first U.S. visit.   You can read it here: How the Beatles Took America. By: GILMORE, MIKAL, Rolling Stone, 0035791X, 1/16/2014, Issue 1200.

Don't forget your Library has a good selection of DVDs, CDs, books and music scores about those loveable lads from Liverpool.
